Each fight (scoring wise)is different because no two fights are the same.

This is a case of two great fighters looking great. Props to both of them, and the fans win. People trying to spin this into GGG looking bad, are petty and the kind of fans that are cancerous to boxing. Two elite warriors trading shots til the last bell. Both fighters stock went up. Imagine just being happy about a great night of boxing? Nah, let me do the best I can to dish dirt on one of the fighters instead.

Yeah, man. In the end, it's about the product which, when it's a great, action-packed fight, the fans win, no matter about the decision. It's just the same old thing on here every time. Close fight. Some cry robbery. In the end, it was close and could have went either way.

It's really about a series of fights. Spence-Porter was the same way. On the night of, robbery, robbery, robbery! And then a day or so later, eh, it was pretty close. Could have gone either way. This happens all the time on here. Some guys start watching a fight and because of their hate or love for one of the fighters, everything is exaggerated. They'll score every round for the guy they want to win as long as he's not getting killed. I don't know. Just gets to be ridiculous. Haha.

Yeah, most posters here never think their guy loses a competitive fight or the guy they hate never wins a close one.

It’s how to separate boxing fans with boxer fans.

Boxing is an interesting and odd sport, where the winner can be decided based on the Opinions of generally 3 spectators (judges).
Obviously, KO's are different and more definitive.

And the ability, integrity, and objectivity, of the judges can vary. Boxing draws more controversy than any other sport. How often do you hear, "Man, the Mets really won that game, they got robbed" ? Eeeeevery once in while, but not often.

Boxing is just special, in that the winner can come down to bias, integrity, or human error. Sure the product, the actual fight provides entertainment, but the outcome, the winner and loser is important also.
I love a great basketball game with a lot of highlights, but if my home team wins, well that's even better.
I think we need to just accept Boxing for what it is, and ultimately be a fan of the sport first, and a fan of the fighter second...if ya really want to remain sane and enjoy it.
It is what it is, so we can take it or leave it, eh ?

I agree. I was rooting for GGG and I thought he lost a very close fight. Dereyvenchenko is no joke and is a tough fight for anyone at 160.

No reason to be outraged. Too many fa*got fans whine about everything instead of just appreciating the show that two warriors put on in a close fight that could have gone either way. Same with Spence-Porter which was mentioned earlier in this thread.

Truth. For most good fights, I can't even come here until after the fight because reading the tantrums these idiots throw just drags everything down. Even though I wasn't hyped for Spence/Porter, I ended up LOVING the fight and felt like I was watching something special. Then, I come here and it's nothing but grumpy bytches trying to create their own fantasy about how it went down.

More truth in this thread than like, twenty average threads on here.

                    Great work, fellows!

Yeah, not only that but then you have to deal with idiots saying so and so "got exposed" just because they won in a close fight where they tested harder than they ever were before, like in Spence's case last week. They don't realize that no one ever looks good fighting someone like Porter who has such a rugged in your face style of boxing. Porter is multiple time champ for a reason and has never been knocked out or stopped.

I actually predicted Spence would stop Porter, but I knew Porter wasn't gonna make it easy.

I swear a lot of these posters must be new to the sport. Fights at the highest level will be competitive in a lot of match ups.
