Real boxing fans have respect for the fighters who risk their lives so that we can have silly online debates.

A rematch is in order here; GGG said yes to the idea in the post fight ring interview as he was hearing the boos. He was saying
"come on guys" as he was being booed.

Canelo and ggg had a draw in the first fight (many thought Canelo won, but nevertheless it was a draw)

2nd fight Canelo won and even Abel Sanchez admitted right after the fight. This was way before Abel and ggg had problems.

ggg won't rematch that robbery. Even when he was asked, he didn't look to sure.

ggg will chase that Canelo pay day.

There was one winner and two big losers emerging from the fight last night. Though he lost the fight, the winner was Derevyanchenko. He showed heart, skill and tenacity and made a lot of new fans. One loser was Golovkin, the official winner of the fight. GGG skills have diminished considerably and is much less marketable.

He can no longer be considered among the elite fighters. Plus he has made a whole host of ****** decisions in the last couple of years, including turning down a third Canelo fight because he insisted the fight be held in New York City, plus ditching the boxing style that brought him much success and getting a trainer who is marginal at best. I will give him credit for ditching his fake, "Mexican style" persona. Unfortunately, his real persona is not very likable.

The second loser is DAZN. They generated a lot of mistrust and ill will by insisting that Canelo fight GGG and refusing at the outset to allow Canelo to fight Andrade or any other top challengers on the September Mexican Holiday. DAZN overpaid Golovkin. Now they are reaping what they sowed.

Great card would be GGG vs Ukrainian with Spence-Porter II on the undercard. I doubt Spence's ego could handle being on an undercard but it would be a hell of a pair of bouts!
