Derev showed faster hands and feet than Golovkin. I was impressed to see him turning GGG all night.

The guy boxed really well considering he couldn't see out of one eye because of the cut.

Spence is willing to run it back with Porter. Let's see if Golovkin is with Derevyanchenko.

      Golovkin: Rematch With Derevyanchenko? Absolutely!
Golovkin and Derevyanchenko shared 12 memorable rounds in a fight of the year contender in the mecca of boxing in the Big Apple, with Golovkin getting the nod 114-113 and 115-112 (twice) non-stop action from the opening bell.

my thoughts when reading that article were....

but I hate that he NEVER backs up his words with appropriate action

the rematch should OBVIOUSLY happen next

      but it won't

I could be wrong... maybe they will run it back

That was an exciting fight. Would love to see a rematch!

Canelo should give Golovkin a rematch too. Pac and Thurman was a very close fight too...A rematch would have been understandable for them but Pac doesn't have much time left and I think that is too dangerous at his advanced boxing age.

Oh, and yes Porter and Spence should have a rematch too.

All of these were exciting, close fights.

you mean, golovkin gave canelo a rematch, right? 'cause the first fight was a draw so golovkin remained the champion

No Canelo gave Golovkin a rematch because as unlikely as it seems Canelo had a rematch clause in his contract Golovkin had none. Bizzare..

                They should run it back.

I disagree it was anything close to questionable decision, but I agree they should run it back.

People who are trying to spin this as some weakness of GGG are hilarious. Similar to Fury in his last fight, GGG only looks stronger, not weaker. When you make it through adversity your stock goes up.

They should rematch it was a good fight and Derevyanchenko deserves it. It's not likely Golovkin and Canelo are going to fight again so unless DAZN has something else in mind it should happen.

The crowd booed Golovkin after the decision was announced, bro.

And several boxers have come out and said they thought Derevyanchenko won. It's right there on the BoxingScene news page.

                    That's not spin. Just facts.
