I'm not convinced that last night's fight will motivate canelo towards a third fight with golovkin. Alvarez just might decide to deprive golovkin of his biggest retirement purse instead . . . .

GGG moved into the paid ranks much later than Clenelo therefore his record is different. During GGG's peak years there will never be anything like that monster ever again.

And lots of good fights didn’t happen because of how CHEAP GGG is. Jacobs fight was postponed over $500k. And almost didn’t happen. Same with Canelo in the 2nd fight.

Let’s not forget the CRAZY Saunders money where they made it sound like $7 million (Yes in an interview was asked) then found out it was same as Lemuix.

Golovkin is just a proxy-protagonist. The media (HBO) fanboys did a great job protecting him. I guess the “good guy, naive dude” is what gravitates to many. The “good guy, intellectual” like Ward isn’t acknowledged.

Everybody remembers bullies in their childhood. Unfortunately I was one of them, picked on the quiet dudes. Therefore the quiet kids are perceived as the innocent... what they think GGG to be.

Then you’ve got some Mexican fans that loved the GGG Mexican style hype and believed the propaganda against Canelo.

Then there are fans whom are simply pro EU fighters for some weird quota...loving the stuff like GGG vs Stevens pressers. Read the YouTube comments..

The TWIST is that GGG admitted he was street bully and picked fights with his brothers against other kids.

Another TWIST! Canelo said he was picked on in school and neighborhood kids because of his hair color. His brothers got him into boxing.

I couldn't care less if GGG was a bully (which is spurious) when he was 9 years old. The fact of the matter is as a man and right now, he's a humble, upstanding professional.

It's Gingernuts that is the drugs cheat, morally questionable professional. Despite using PEDs he still got his barse kicked by 'bully' GGG just like how he used to get battered by childhood bullies back in Mexico apparently...
