GGG - Derevyanchenko was a better fight. Just 147 division is hyped for some reason.

(my informal scores had spence (115-112) and ggg (114-113) winning razor thin decisions)
Stop it. Porter in no way could be seen as the winner. That was a clear win for Spence.

This was not a clear win for ggg. The comparison is a desperate attempt by a ggg fan to justify the cards for ggg that many disagree with.

I had the exact same scores as you man

GGG winning 114-113 and Spence winning 115-112. I feel like both fights could have went either way

Agree with you man. Had ggg winning by round and Spence by two.. very close fights. Definitely no robbery

I dont have to justify anything. I have no problem admitting that its quite reasonable for people to have scored the fight for Derev. There were easily 2 or 3 close rounds that one could score for either fighter.....

You can add Pacquiao vs Thurman to that list.

maybe if GGG had scored that KD in the eleventh round like spence instead of the first the perception would be similar. watching spence-porter i felt that that KD changed the fight, spence winning the championship rounds gave him the edge in a tough fight imo. GGG scored the KD in the first and by the championship rounds that moment looked far away.

The difference is Spence's kd was legit

GGG's kd was due to a punch behind the head (he kept rabbit punching Derev, several times during the match out of desperation, and the biased referee didn't do ****)

GGG's kd should have been invalidated

Derev beat him and it wasn't close. I gave GGG 3, 4 rounds tops

Spence-Porter was close. Triple Gift got a gift decission

I agree with the sentiments but I felt Porter won 8-4 or 7-5 and Dervyachenko won 9-3 or 8-4

This was a perfect viewing of A side star fighters getting protection by the judges/refs!

Spence not getting more warnings for low blows or even a point deducted plus getting more benefits of the doubt than Porter when he was getting outworked an outlanded on the inside and getting caught flush in the face!

Ggg getting protected by the ref when Dervyachenko attacked the body and kept warning him for punches that was on the belt line or higher and stepped in between them for no reason when Dervyachenko had Golovkin hurt!

An then Dervyachenko didn’t get the benefit of no doubt when he was outworking and outlanding Golovkin throughout the fight!

It’s sad that both men laid it all out in the ring and did all they could but get a knockout an still lost!

Only differences is that PBC tried to hide the corruption with the split decision while DAZN surprisingly didn’t even try to hide their corruption by giving Unanimous decision!

Both Porter and Dervyachenko deserves immediate rematches!
