mad respect for you, i had serg winning but too many close rounds for me to call it a robbery..
I mean dude part of it is what we’ve come to expect from Golovkin as a fighter and he looked like dog shhh spoiled last night. It’s not an outright robbery but if From an eye test we had to pick a winner it should’ve been Derevyanchenko
Wrong man won, it's fair to say. My fellow Golovkin fans need to take the rose colored glasses off and be honest with themselves..
Completely agree that watching it live SD was the better man...and scoring the fight he definitely seemed the better man too imo...60/40 margin.
Problem for him imo is he got a bit unlucky that he didn't have a clear 8-4 win...the flash KD in round 1, and then the big cut opened up in round 2..shade both those to GGG for me, whereas without a couple of those punches, it could have been 2-0 SD...those two rounds (and maybe a couple other close rounds where GGG edged/could have edged) turned a quite clear 7-5 or 8-4 win for him to 6-6 for GGG on my card.
But I agree SD was the better fighter...just got a bit unlucky that he didn't make it clearer...if they fought again and the breaks went his way instead of GGG it could have been 8-4 or better for SD for me.
Every ****ing card. Derev clearly won that fight. Completely outworked him. FFS.
Yea because you're not bias and haven't been attacking GGG for years and asked things of him to prove himself that you didn't for anyone else. And I'm sure you were also just as upset when one judge had Canelo beating GGG 10 rounds in the first fight and Cotto 11 rounds in their fight. You just for whatever didn't mention it on these forums at the time.
Yep, the actual reason you're upset has absolutely nothing to do with just hating GGG and the fact that he won fair or unfair
I wont say it was a robbery, It got real tight at the end but I felt like SD deserved the nod. Ill say this, he deserved it more than Canelo did in the second fight. That tells you how boxing works. Ive always liked Golovkin but he got the nod because of the dollar bills he generates just like Canelo got a draw in an obvious loss and a win in a close fight he should have lost.

They will run it back, of that I’m pretty sure because now folks will definitely be interested in the result. I went to the open workout at MSG when they each did the stuff for the fans and press, Golovkin didn’t seem himself and his energy was shhh so I plunked down a Benjamin at 5-1 odds on Sergiy to get the decision. How true is it that Golovkin was sick earlier in the week? Who knows they did mention it before the fight while the fighters were preparing and even in those shots of him in the locker room he didn’t look his normal self. I do think he’s on the slide though and I’m not sure how much of that was age, possible illness, struggles with the second day weigh in, or opponent but none of it should take away from the showing out Derevyanchenko put on Saturday night. I called this fight as a bad choice for GGG but he should definitely man up and run that back in January if he’s hoping for a 3rd fight in May, keeps him busy, maybe he looks better and redeems himself or realizes his time has passed and retires before the trilogy.
