Like I said in my comment, everybody cant be Floyd! Watch and see what I tell you; Crawford, Loma, Spence, will all be washed in their early 30'sComment

Yes. Floyd seemed to be a cut above them all. If only he wouldn't have worked the system, with fake retirements, hand picked opponents, (to make sure he matched up well against them), long layoffs, and waiting til fighters slowed down to fight them, he'd be the true goat. He may be the goat, but he never proved it. I got a prime RJJ as the goat.Comment

Stop saying that Golovkin had 20 defenses at middleweight. The WBA "regular" belt does not count.Comment

A bit dramatic. If a guy loses he needs to retire? The loser will retire from boxing after this fight. Derevyanchenko will never get such a payday again in his career and if GGG loses then his stock decreases heavily. Klitschko signed a new 5 fight deal with RTL before the first Fury fight and 2 fights later he retired from boxing. Thats a hint to GGG´s 6 fight deal with DAZN......Comment

It's a bullshit belt. The WBA's real champion is the "super" champion not the regular champion.
For that same reason I don't consider that Canelo's win over Rocky Fielding made him a champion at 168.Comment

There's no hard and fast rule, the WBA count it and I guess that's what the official record states, but the general consensus among rational people is that you can only count 1 belt per sanction org per division at any given time.
Problem is, sometimes there's a super champ and sometimes there ain't. If there's no super champ seems most people are willing to accept that WBA World champ is the legitimate titlist... otherwise Broner would never have been a champ at WW for instance, or Linares at LW, yet these are accepted without question.
Like I say - no hard and fast rule, but that seems to be a sensible compromise.Comment
