that's the mindset of fighter who knows deep down that they're not built for this. there is a lot of fighters like this. dont get me wrong, they're good fighters, good skills, but they lack the championship mindset. guys like broner, etc.

That TR ship had sailed. I’m not crying we both know how the boxing business works. You’re the one pretending like you don’t.

I agree...it’s very frustrating watching Thurman call for rematches everytime he fights with his opponents win or lose...if he doesn’t get his way...he gets “injured” and has to undergo “surgery”...

...or maybe he just susceptible to injuries as he gets older

Thurman comes to FIGHT which is why he is never in a BORING FIGHT so I can see how he gets injured at times. Thurman can get a bit Wild too and when you get Wild like that, injuries are always likely...

I don’t think age is the problem with Keith...I think he’s just tender...especially in the body...he fights one tune up...then a contender...then gets another surgery...and is out for the year...come back for another tune up...then a money fight...wash...rinse...repeat...
that’s what I noticed about him...

These guys let the top comp x themselves out...while scraping up the scraps...This guy Thurman is always “injured” but I’d bet if Manny gave him an immediate rematch...we’d hear nothin’ of an injury...chess not checkers but this ish is annoying...smh...
Eh I just think he really is injury prone. Not sure that he's using that as an excuse to duck fights rather that he is just a brittle dude. He might get TKO'd against Spence, but i think it would be a pretty even fight while it lasts. All these PBC welterweights are about the same level imo but i think spence might be a LITTLE better. Virtually of their fights with each other are close SD/MD types of fights or are all really close on the cards. This includes Spence and his fights with Brook/Porter. The wildcard is Crawford as he hasn't fought any of the top WWs yet so it's tough to gauge where he's at in comparison with the others.
