Floyd said he wanted to retire at 32 long before the Hatton fight. The only surprise was that he actually did it.

Thurman has a legitimate excuse. Floyd didn’t.

Thus I can not compare the two.

Thurman’s always injured man...he uses injuries to avoid fights...fights tune ups after surgery...then goes for Pacquiao...wash...rinse...repeat...while avoiding Spence...he’s already fighting once a year against tune ups...porter and Garcia are the only fights he’s interested in if he can’t get Manny...ww division lookin’ weak now...because of it...surgery is Thurman’s form of retirement...he won’t ever fight Spence...

Thurman still has one of the best resumes at welterweight. Spence is only just starting to catch up.

Thurman has a wack resume...I thought Porter beat him and many others had Garcia beating him too...those are the only name wins on his resume...he lost to a 40 year old Pacquiao...how does he have one of the best resume at Welterweight???...
