Had Ortiz taken the Joshua fight and been the one to KO Joshua, He would have already pocketed the $5 million (or better, assuming negotiations would have continued), and he would be making another $10-15 million for the rematch. So had Ortiz took the AJ fight, he would have made close to $20 million for 2019. But yeah, $7 million is MUCH better.........lol oops, I forgot that Haymon will pay him another $50 million on the side in secret money, so I guess the $7 million was indeed smarter.......smh

He turned down a fight on short notice. They wouldn't have paid him that much if he had time to prepare properly for the fight. The fight would not had even been offered.
