This was 2 people, one who happened to be a woman, get into some sh^t at a sporting event weigh in where tensions are often high & some sh^t talking is bound to go down. No, a dispute broke out between Clarissa Shield's sister and Coach Bashir; Who had every right to be on that podium because he was Ivana Habazin's chief second. It was part of his job description.

However, Clarissa's sister did not. She had no business on that podium whatsoever. She is just a civilian who should have been ejected from the stage to begin with. She was neither an official, principal or a second.

These venues should start implementing new rules. No one should be allowed on the podium during the weigh ins other than the fighters and their coaches.

If a rule like this was ever implemented then a situation like that would have never occurred. Also, if it's at all possible they need to set up barricades and beef up security.

In any case, they need to clear the stage by keeping the entourages off of them. So no future event like this would ever happen again .

Lets start by saying I'm not speaking of you, I'm speaking of Shields team. I was addressing your post but not attacking you directly.

I grew up poor myself, which one of us was more poor than the other is subjective. I've pulled myself out of the gutters, I've survived the streets, and rose out of the ashes against nearly impossible odds. I can tell you from personal experience that the way her sister handled the situation is inexcusable. She doesn't get use the ******, poverty, or "that life" as a crutch.

She seized an opportunity to assault an old man; I'd bet anything that if he were a young 6'5" 275 lb. mad Russian who spoke to her the wrong way, she wouldn't have tried to sucker punch him. That's why what she did is punk behavior. If you are going to take a stand, you do it against someone equally matched or someone who may even have a chance to whip your ass, not by picking easy meat and running like a b!tch afterwards. Real badasses don't need to prove themselves every time they feel disrespected or slighted. They draw upon their experience, and develop a thicker skin and use some perspective and proportionate responses. This is why people in her world are shot to death on a daily basis--incapable of self-control and applying better judgement. Not so street smart after all.
