It's mainly because he was forced down our throats for years by HBO and boxing media members. Boxing media constantly wrote sob stories about him, ranked him top 5 P4P despite having a GARBAGE resume, told us he was star despite his PPVs FLOPPING, told us he had almost 20 title defenses when the regular belt should NOT count, etc.

They constantly told us GGG was great when GGG had yet to prove it in the ring first. He is one of the biggest media backed fighters i have ever seen. There was always an agenda by the media to make this guy a star and make him out to be an ATG despite his little resume.

GGG also lied about wanting to challenge himself. What happened to mr 154-168? Its been 6 years since that statement and he's still at 160.
