Maybe Gomache thought that if Wallin targeted the cut Fury would begin to anticipate and time Wallin but sometimes you need to throw the dice and risk it.     You could hear Wallin's corner telling him repeatedly to target the eye. He even risked a dq by targeting it illegally with the heel of his glove after the bell!

    Clearly, Wallin and his team were aware of the commission's ruling on the cause of the cut.

      It wasn't an inside feed though. How could it be when the commission's ruling was broadcast live to the TV audience?

      They didn't tell Fury's corner anything that they weren't supposed to know, and entitled to know.

        Exactly! Weeks could have cost Fury the fight by giving him incorrect information, and nobody did anything about it except the commentary team. They should be applauded for that.
