Make this fight already. Lets see what the kid's got. Im not too impressed with this kid. I think he got too much air in his head and will have a hard realization that he aint ready yet. It would be best he gets a regular world championship belt first before Loma fight to make it a little even.

What other big fights are there south of 135? The prospect is a mandatory anyway, pretty sure that was the plan.

Credit to this kid for calling for the fight but let's be honest, "fans" have never heard of him.

His future is at 140 and above. Tank nor Loma will ever fight him.

I'm guessing the plan is to wait until Loma drops the titles after he becomes undisputed. Haney is some sort of regular, JV, interim or whatever champ, theyll never call for the mandatory fight.

He will fight Campbell and the other guys in the top 10 besides Tank. Because that guy will never fight anyone if Floyd has it his way.

No, that would be illogical from a managerial standpoint. Loma is the only and most lucrative fight under 135, that's why everybody is so willing to give him a title shot.

Loma's very last opponent was not a champion. So, how does he ONLY fight champions?

Would be a decent fight, but as the article says, unlikely to happen given the weight dynamics. That they currently intersect in the same weight class is really just a transient curiosity. Loma doesn't really belong this high and Haney will not stay this low for long. I've said before: the sky's the limit for Haney, but the chances of him facing Loma are wafer thin.

                    These people make me sick.
Yeah, that's what I'll never understand with these clowns.
They don't do anything except cry to the media.
They have their own respective management teams to make
fights for them and pay top dollars to keep the wheels moving.
I'd rather hear them say they contacted Loma's team first,
for example, before crying and moaning to the media.

The best thing that should happen is for Fa$t £ddie to badger the WBC to order Haney/Campbell as a final eliminator. This fight would make good money in London & expand Haney's profile.
