Haney is already a fantastic fighter but he's still fulfilling his potential, where Loma is already at his peak. Basically I'd give him a competitive chance of beating Loma now while still favouring the Ukrainian wizard, but I've a feeling that after 12-18 months more progression for Haney the odds-would be reversed.

I am a fan of Loma and I'm from Ukraine... but I genuinely hope Loma does not fight Haney after Commey because that might be his 2nd loss. Loma is too small for 135 for it to be fair to fight the bigger, quick, technical and (most important) disciplined fighter with boxing DNA in him.
Loma either fights him this year (hell of a tough fight) or doesn't fight him at all. Best for Loma fight at 130 with anybody or fight Berchelt/Davis/Cancio/Leo Santa Cruz/GRJ at 135/130, wherever they want to fight at.

Honesty is a good thing.
