When was the last time a 'unified' welterweight champion was the underdog going into a fight? Does Crawford still have to 'earn' a shot to get to Spence considering that Errol is the clear underdog?
Earn his shot against the underdog man......Crawford is clearly the #1 WW.

Round and round the PBC incest-fest at 147 goes. None of the guys has dominated any of the other guys, all the fights have been close, and they don't fight outside of their small group in order to truly measure themselves. A big meh to this crop of PBC welters.

Why would’nt Spence be the underdog in this fight.
He couldn’t blast out a tubby lightweight or outbox an in shape street fighter.

Yeah I had Thurman winning that fight handily.
I’d have Danny as quite a wide outsider against Spence. He’s got a ton of ability but his punch output is garbage against top tier guys, eye catching work in spots but not nearly busy enough.
If he actually dared to be great and let his hands go more instead of putting his energy into moaning about the scorecards he’d have more chance of winning some big fights.

Crawford can take $2M vs Pacman's $20M to acquire 2 titles ( WBO & WBA) to even up with Spence (WBC & IBF) otherwise it's 35/65.

The unbeaten and unified welterweight titlist from Desoto, Texas has opened as a 6-1 (-600) betting favorite over Philadelphia (Pa.)-born and bred Garcia (35-2, 21KOs), who is installed as a 4-1 (+400) betting underdog according to sportsbook BetOnline.ag. The bout was strongly floated a likely next step for Spence immediately after his thrilling 12-round split decision victory over Shawn Porter.

Yet pbc fighters are still taking harder fights then any other promotion yet people still complain. Of course Spence is gonna fight Garcia and Thurman before Spence that’s a given.
