I had a think on it, and with his win over Shawn Porter to unify two titles this past weekend, I had to bump Spence to No. 1 and drop Terence Crawford to No. 2. I think that’s a compelling hypothetical matchup, might even pick Bud to win it, but it’s just really hard to keep defending Crawford as the top welterweight. It’s not Crawford’s fault, but he’s going to end 2019 having fought a pretty washed Amir Khan and, it appears, Egidijus Kavaliauskas. Other than that, his welterweight résumé is Jeff Horn and Jose Benavidez Jr. It’s not that Spence has some incredible run of his own, but he’s now beaten Kell Brook and Shawn Porter to win titles and dominated otherwise. I just personally can’t see Crawford ranked over Spence at 147 anymore. Top Rank simply can’t make good fights for Crawford at the moment. Spence, meanwhile, has another legit contender lined up next in Danny Garcia. And for what it’s worth, I don’t really get the argument that Porter “exposed” Spence and thus Spence isn’t as good as we thought. Porter brought his best fight to Spence, Spence outlasted him, and he won a really good fight against a determined, relentless opponent. If anything, I think more of Spence now, as he’s shown he can dig in with that sort of fight.

Underachieving past 24 rounds for your #1 Spence, Lil Mikey & Porter. I guess you're not acknowledging his weaknesses with recent 2 fights?? Undoubtedly T Crawford would KTFO of Lil Mikey & Porter, everyone thinking Spence would do, didn't happen and wasn't close to. Even Spence was disappointed his Hype didn't live up to expectations. Your legit WW contender, Danny Garcia will end up accepting far less dollars vs Spence than he was offered to face T Crawford. Have you pondered that yet?

They're not avoiding WBO Champs, they are avoiding the WBO! Have been for quite some time! Surprised you didn't know that! Andrade didn't want that work! Never fought any of the Charlos, didn't fight Lara, Williams, wasted his time! Now he has a WBO MW title, and no Canelo, no GGG, no Saunders! Really sad! Andrade and Crawford are the saddest stories in Boxing right now! Choices have consequences!

Crawford can take $2M vs Pacman's $20M to acquire 2 titles ( WBO & WBA) to even up with Spence (WBC & IBF) otherwise it's 35/65.

Bud should give Manny his belt back that he shouldn't have and wait in line. Not sure if Arum wants Bud fighting a Shawn Porter right now because we might not ever see Spence Bud after the exposure... and maybe that's not the fight to watch all along anyways.
