If Hearn puts this on the AJ undercard I have no gripes with this at all. A showcase fight on a major platform. I would actually applaud Hearn, but if it isn't that, idk...

Even if he gets the fights & wins. Unless it's a snowball effect, he'll probably never reach what his full potential is/could've been. Sad really.

Then What? Andrade did recently try to go up to 168 for BJS and was curved yet again so he does have a legit argument about people ducking but GGG and BJS are both working with Hearn now, so if he is also signed with him and he still can't get those guys then WTF is the point?

Why does Andrade keep getting lumped in with Charlo? Listen, everybody wants to fight Canelo cause he's the most popular & if you beat him it automatically catapults you to a different status. But Andrade has expressed interest in virtually every "name" from 154-160. He's even on the "right side of the street." He's even willing to concede to cheating aśs, ducking aśs, fat aśs, BJS even though he shouldn't have too, that is clear and plain to see. All I'm saying is, he's clearly tried to fight the quote-unquote "high risks low rewards" & the "cash cows" so it's not just a Canelo thing.

So another stay busy fight for "split decision" Andrade.

Probably. I see so many holes in this guy's game though. If he ever does fight Canelo or even an old GGG, I think he gets badly exposed.

I thought this was the guy that got beat up by Munguia in a couple of rounds but it’s actually the guy that got beat up by the guy Munguia beat up.

Andrade should look good in this fight anyway. If the Canadian takes it.

Well for Me Personally, both are extremely talented fighters fighting sh#t opponents is the only reason why I lump them together

Top 5 in a division should have to face other top 10 guys or be stripped/ranked down imo...mandatories can be tune-ups for them since we know some guys on those lists are not top 10.

Not sure if you read my post wrong or something...so I posted again for ya.

                  1) hard to believe this guy is a mando...never heard of him...and Andrade has fought Walter, Akavov and Sulecki since he got the belt...you would think one of those non-elite fighters would suffice as his mando.

                  2) as I said in my post, if a guy is fighting his mando, that can be his stay busy fight...but otherwise you shouldn't have top 5 guys fighting non top 10 opponents.

Man it just seems to me that both Charlo and Andrade can make about the same money per fight to fight anyone not named Canelo...so imo it seems like they are (pretty smartly one could argue) taking the path of least resistance right now until the 'big fight' materializes...whether it will come and when it will come idk...I honestly don't know/think either one really wants even the GGG fight, since it is still a pretty high risk/low reward fight.

As for the callouts, I see that more or less a way to get attention and some spotlight, and to try and create a persona of being avoided.

Don't get me wrong, Andrade is low reward high risk as well, and while he may not KO you, it is a possibility that he makes you look bad, so it makes him an even less intriguing opponent in that way...so I don't think guys are lining up to fight him and knocking on his door as well.

I just personally don't think he is really wanting to fight anyone not named Canelo right now...and he/his team will be taking easier fights until they can try and secure the Canelo fight, or maybe even the GGG fight...maybe they really want that one too, idk...I can't really see the angle for really wanting BJS, that fight would not really sell at all, so can't really see the money upside.

If he was fighting the best available at MW, or even 154, besides Canelo, GGG or BJS, then I would probably agree that he really wanted those last 2 fights or that he would fight anyone else...I just haven't really seen him fight anyone besides easier opponents mainly so I think he is content to take similar money vs them than to take on tougher fights for the same money and more risk.

Who knows though man, I could be wrong...it is possible that all those guys really are avoiding him, and that Andrade isn't even able to get the next best opponents in there either as maybe they are ducking him too...I give him credit for fighting and easily beating Sulecki, and that fight showed he would step up the comp. a bit.

I just don't see him really taking on the toughest possible fights right now either...but again he is not really on anyone's top list, he isn't a big draw and is a tough matchup.

I hope he gets some good fights soon, and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins 'em...he seems like a very tricky fight for anyone around 160.
