Except other boxers with Haymon have said they have multiple options of fighters to face. Never really was that intrigued bt by lsc anyways. Or Gary Russell.Comment

I have to be honest, I only blame Leo for this. I was a big fan of his as he came up but at a certain point he decided to go risk averse. I don't blame Haymon for paying fighters decently for subpar fights and I don't blame the fighters for accepting those fights. But the fighter has to take the associated criticism if they accept that arrangement.
If LSC wanted fights to be made, he could make them happen. If he is content fighting less than the best then I am content in longer being a fan of his.Comment

Santa Cruz has always blamed Haymon for us not getting the fights we want to see him in. Remember when Rigo was on his ass and he said "Al Haymon told me that wouldn't be a good fight".
Idk how Haymon works, nobody really does. everyone on here just goes off assumption. I'm assuming Santa Cruz is telling the truth BUT he's also not mad about what he's being told. He's just happy to go along with whatever he's told.
I feel like Haymons the kinda guy that will advise his guys in what fights to take or not take, but if it comes down to something they really want, he makes it happen.
Santa Cruz has fought so many tuneups I lost all interest in anything he does.
Leo has the last word but he could also be right about the money on the table too. It all ties in.Comment

When Santa cruz is matched tough he generates decent enough numbers to where he can dictate his own career. Haymon probably just advises Santa cruz who to fight, not outright force him. He will easily beat flores & then became a 4 divisional world champion, which is a disgrace...achieve it against an actual champion or against a top quality champion. Flores couldn't even separate himself against journeymen level fightersComment
