there is the katipo... it supposedly killed someone once, but I have never heard of anyone dying from a katipo bite... haven't seen a katipo here for 30 years

and I think they found a few funnel-web spiders up north... over from aussie... but yea not much else can hurt you down here

    it probbaly happened over there

it sounds like bullshlt hah not sure

There are poisonous spiders in Nevada (Brown Recluse, Brown Widow)

****, imagine leaving NZ/AZ and getting bit by a poisonous spider in America?

It could have even been a tick bite. Those things can ruin some future plans LOL. I am thinking Tick because he never noticed it when he got bitten. Ticks you cannot feel. Most spider bites you can feel unless distracted.

Seems like Joseph Parker was bitten by a poisonous spider while training for Chisora. Joe should chose his sparring partners more carefully in future!

Seriously though, this isn't as crazy as it might seem. There are a lot of venomous creepy crawlies down under.
He was training in Vegas. The "spider bite" is really gonorrhea from a hooker.
