Lol at Hearn saying this when he already knows Benavidez has to fight Yildrim next. Benavidez then will probably fight Plant which is a bigger fight (in terms of $$) than Smith as much as I'd like to see it

Lol at you. Dirrell is more proven & is a bigger win than anybody on Smith's resume. & Benavidez didn't even break a sweat in dominating him. Groves is Smith's best win & while he gave all the notable guys he's fought a tough fight(including Smith), he lost to every one of them.Comment

A Groves who came off of shoulder surgery was better than Dirrell at their respective points in time of their fights. Sure dude. A win is a win regardless of how it's obtained or how disputed it is. If Benavidez is overrated, then Smith is even more so bc he's proven even less than him. They'll eventually cross paths & we'll see which one is for real.Comment

We know your madness when it comes to Euro fighters. We know you're a homer when it comes to Mexicans. But your patheticness will be there for all to see like it always is when the time comes.Comment

Groves was a live body. He was more proven than any of them in the US. It's the US fighters who need a live body because they're all fighting garbage.Comment

He's cashing them out? What???? So he's doing this so he doesn't have any more champs left? Haha. Yeah, that makes perfect sense.
No, he's doing what a proper promoter should do by getting his fighters the fights they want and need. There is no cashing out going on. Plus, British fighters are more proven than they are in the US. Go on, dispute this and i'll happily put you right.Comment

Callum has more talent in one hand than benevidez will ever have. You'll see how good he is when he's in there with a legit fighter. Not some clown called Dirrell who is past it and never good to begin with. Hell, Yildrim was ripped off after beating him up. Bika was too back in the day. So who has Dirrell ever beat when he was prime? No one is the answer. Now he's just finished. But he still caused Benevidez plenty of problems. Seems to be a habit for him against bums. Callum most certainly isn't a bum. you'll see soon enough.Comment

Then what about Smith struggling quite a bit with that Nieky Holzken nonentity in the Super Series?
You have to look at the potential in this case. Benavidez looks like someone who is still in his third gear, but hits like a fùcking mule as the poet would have it.
Smith - at least in my opinion - will find his level as soon as he fights someone at the top.
As of now I see Benavidez by stoppage as the pick in an eventual fight between he and Smith.
When Callum has a proper fight in front of him, he'll be motivated to do a proper job. And that's what he'll do. Just watch.Comment

Well, who do you think is the number 1 fighter at 168? Callum is the most proven as his groves win is better than anything anyone else has done. Plus, he was hoping for them to join him in the competition. But they all ran instead. So lets hope he's able to get his hands on them. Ramirez has already done a runner after hearing Hearn/Arum wanted to set up that fight. Lets hope the others don't do the same as well.Comment
