That was easily the best fight of the year and close enough where folks thought it could have gone either way or a draw. It was close quarters and at for 12 rounds. I say they need to do it again.

It was a competitive but dominant performance by Spence.
I agree bro, Shawn was a killer that night. However Errol was rolling a lot of that frenetic offense. The response from Spence was usually landing clean. That was the difference.

It’s the classic illusion of Porter doing much better than these guys thought he would and then Spence struggling more than we have seen.

However there is a difference between the hard fought win that took place and the embellished loss some have claimed.

Anytime some one claims a “Robbery,” and the fight was close, the intent always shows up dubious to say the least. And if guys are saying Errol must rematch, I want too see similar requests for Fury vs Wallin.

Nothing but RESPECT because this ERA is the Excuse ERA, fanboys and some fighters LOVE to make excuses

Shawn fought a hell of a fight and I think is more than worthy of a rematch

I always knew Porter would leave it all inside the ropes, but he surprised me with just how close he kept it. Going into the 11th I had it even, then Spence managed to dig deep and win the last 2 including the knock-down. A close, competitive, but clear result for me.

Porter finally getting the respect he deserves!

People including me thought he was gonna get stopped but he shut up a lot of people!

I thought he pulled it off even with the knockdown due to him pushing the pace, landing more punches(punch stats was bull cuz Porter landed 3 straight right hands an the landed stats number didn’t even budge), better ring generalship and better defense!

Spence also didn’t get warned like he should’ve for the obvious low blows but it was a smart tactic to use against a relentless guy pushing you around!

Porter deserves an immediate rematch but the A side star survived a close fight so it won’t happen!

Hopefully with Kenny Porter saying they’d take the Crawford fight means we may get to see Bud vs Shawn next year at some point!

Instant classic and respect to Spence for that clutch left hook as well as respect to Porter for coming back in that same round!

I don’t care if they do it at 154, this fight deserves a sequel!

Spence won but Porter won 5 rounds imo, he also stunned Spence a few times and backed him up. It was a close fight.

KD make the difference just like Pac/Thurman; six rounds each!?

Wallin won two of the 12 rounds vs Fury!! Duh. Porter landed plenty of clean shots on Spence throughout, visibly hurting him a few times to body and head. Porter also won at least 4 rounds, probably 5.
                  Big difference to Fury Wallin.

Seemed like the winner of this fight was pre-determined with all the hype around Spence. Anyone who knows boxing knew Porter wasn’t gonna get mowed over. I felt he deserved the W based on the fact he landed the better punches in the majority of the rounds pushed the pace and made adjustments. Spence never really made adjustments his main plan was just keep coming forward and throwing to the gut which strayed below the belt quite often. But either way both guys fought a great fight that was very entertaining which you don’t always get.
