He had never faced that kind of consistent pressure, nor was his face in worse shape after a fight before. Spence lost his cool and started acting a bit Mayweatherish, being immature and disrespectful in his response to Porter. It was a close fight, no one was robbed but the two Spence score cards were too wide. This isn't the first bad scorecard Weisfeld has submitted. Showtime boxing seems like it's on the way out and he's doing more judging than commentating which isn't reflecting well on him. They should get rid of him, I don't care how long he's been in the business, the guy is either bias or incompetent in his judging of a fight.

Porter ran his mouth saying he and he alone promoted the fight. Spence replied and it got outta hand. Speak facts bro

Everybody won with this fight. The fans, Porter, Spence and the sport of boxing itself.

Even in losing Porter's stock went up and Spence showed that he can go into a dogfight for 12 rounds.

Too bad there are a few negative poster that didn't appreciate the fight.

It was a clear Spence win to me. He was aggressive too and landed the harder cleaner punches... he was also never hurt or in any kind of trouble. I don't see how anyone could think Porter won. It was a competitive but dominant performance by Spence.
i had dough on spence so was naturally rooting for him but that was anything but 'dominant'...it was extremely close...

              Big difference to Fury Wallin.
You are your own worst witness. Instead of clearing up why there shouldn’t be a rematch between Fury and Wallin you just reconfirmed the fight between Spence and Porter was accurate to the judges cards. Duh...

Even if Porter only won five rounds by your perspective that leaves 7 rounds plus a knock down point for Spence. So if he won by 3 full points where is the robbery?

But back to Fury, robbery is clear. That cut was terrible. His eye could have been permanently damaged. More importantly it was caused by a Wallin punch.

The Robbery in the Fury fight is this. That fight should have been stopped leaving Wallin the winner and upgraded from 48 best to mythical, illusionary, lineal title holder. Thanks for making my case smart guy.

porter finally getting the props he deserves. he used to be the head first rock em sock em head butt elbow fiasco. this fight he actually showed skill. use of angles, pivots, counters. even though spence rolled or blocked most of the offense, porter stock is at an all time high even with the loss. hellava fight, run it back.

Spot on, I agree some of these guys can’t score a fight. Some got caught up in Shawn’s great performance.

However everyone isn’t innocent. Some of these guys are just biased man fans faking outrage as usual.

You're the idiot here - I never said Porter won.

My point was that he had lot's of success, landed a lot of hard punches and made it a close fight, much closer than Wallin did, but you seem like you want to deny Porter that.

Great fight. Both guy's showed great heart. It was great to see Spence pushed, and to see what he is made of, he's made of good stuff. You got to love a guy like Porter, big heart from both guys. Spence imo won the last two rounds and it gave him the win for me.
