Can you name a top fighter who hasn't fought low level competition.

If you think there’s “levels” then why didn’t Floyd want Cotto’s Middleweight strap nor Canelo’s if they were so easy? Both Canelo and Cotto wanted those rematches. Floyd is A side. He could’ve easily asked for 155 to make the Middleweight fight easier for him since he fought DLH and Cotto at 154.

How does the “TBE” duck bigger paydays in Cotto or Canelo rematches by not attempting 1lb for the Middleweight straps, Lineal, and 6 Division Champ status for his legacy?

Whenever I bring this up it never gets answered. Sorry to smash your theories about Floyd.

Maidana fights were a scam by Haymon and Floyd to milk out his contract on Showtime. Carry the Argentinian. Lara and Thurman were available on Showtime for either 147 or 154. We know which fights Floyd wanted for #46, 47, and #49.
It doesn't matter what you bring up I know what the truth is, Floyd was talking to people in the audience when he fought Canelo..remember when Canelot took a big swing and missed by so far that floyd made fun of him. Remember mayweather is not a middle weight yet he toyed with a middle weight fighter. You're probably refering to pacquiao..he's the one who fought weight drained damaged goods. Cotto was in a good condition the same with canelo. Floyd beat them all, from corrales, gatti, pacquiao, canelo, cotto, maidana etc..Not every fight was easy such as the first maidana fight but the canelo fight certainly was.

Bro come on Floyd played the numbers game late in his career, with high reward/low risk, controlling the weights/venue etc...never took real risks the last 10-15 years of his career.

A great boxer for sure but gotta critique him too.

Talking to the audience? Aren't you referring to Floyd's earlier career fights when he spoke to Lampley directly. Or are you referring to boxer's going out of character like BJS looking away into the crowd when Lemieux missed? I take it all boxers would start doing this whenever a boxer misses? Let's not assume that act is because of skill while the boxer continues retreat on the back foot.

And again, you ducked the obvious question again. Lol. Why didn't Floyd want Cotto's Lineal Middleweight strap? Floyd could've asked for 155 since he's a side. How does the ''TBE'' not attempt 1lb? The answer is because Cotto got bigger in mass once acclimated at Middleweight. So you can assume Floyd didn't want to run that back when Cotto was tagging him on the ropes.

Then there's the mythical weight deficiencies for Floyd fighting Mexican stars in Vegas. Insecurities by him and Haymon? Marquez? The guy wasn't even a Welterweight and Floyd, ''TBE'' gym rat and sooo ''discliplend,'' couldn't make 144lbs? As if Floyd couldn't drain 2lbs because he doesn't drain to begin with remember!? lol. Truth is Floyd was ripped at 147 weigh ins and on fight night he was soft. It clearly means he was draining SOME water...

Then we've got the Canelo fight. at 152. Don't you see the irony!?!

            2lbs!? 154 - 152 = 2lbs right?!

So would Floyd have been affected had he weighed 144 instead of 146 for Marquez? 2 year lay off doe... and Foreman knocks out youngies

God I love smashing you dummies!

Well Taylor still got dibs over Postol in the WBC. The Silver strap must count for something... and ironically we're talking about IBF vs WBC simultaneously right? consistency in boxing doe...

Still the same forward walking fighter like he was back then...yea might of gotten a bit stronger but against floyd you need to be skilled. If it was a competitive fight I might of agree to a certain degree with you but he got toyed for 12 rounds dude. Golovkin with his goofy broken English. This is why he is difficult to market to the American public. Yeah if you read the end of the article what he meant to say was that his preparation and approach to all his fights are at the same level, he never takes his opponents lightly. I'm sure the writer of this article chose this goofy one liner as a click bait, because it makes it sound like Golovkin is saying that all the no hopers he's KO'd are at the same level as ginger.
