Again, I dont think Pac needs to announce anything. as I've said, it's not like he has no intention on fighting these young bucks, but at the same time he has to be careful. he is no spring chicken anymore. when Pac was on prime, I don't remember him making excuses like what Spence and Crawford does.

No one knows what's going on behind the scene and hate will automatically place blame on the hated guy.

Hearns vs Mccallum at 154
Jones vs Michalczewski
Keith HOlmes vs William Joppy: Back when both were at 160 and champions, they kept talking trash to each other and even fought on the same card. King had both under contract and they had sparred together before. This was the fight I wanted to see bad in the 90s. During this time, Lonnie Bradley was the WBO champ and no one even recognized the WBO back then. HOpkins was the WBC and considered to be aging. But Holmes vs Joppy was the fight that should have been made.
It happens. It's happened in the past, it's happening now and will happen in the future. It was bad when there were 3 major titles. Now that there are 4 with the inclusion of the WBO, it's even worse. Naseem used to win titles and give them up to keep from defending them because he wanted to stay loyal to the WBO(as he claimed, but he just didn't want to fight anyone). And my examples are off fighters who were in the same weight class dominating.
That's what happened when Pac KO'd Hatton at 140. Then ODLH offered him the fight when Floyd unexpectedly retired. Some(haters) would say he ducked the best in 140.
Why the hell would you stay at 140 when golden boy has offered you a fight? Who was the PPV king at the time.
Pac accepted the fight which everybody called a circus. Was it 80/20 split?? for PPV? And when Pac won, those experts say it was a catchweight!
Oscar was the A side. He could have demanded everything. But he chose money and accepted the catchweight.
