wilder-fury 2 can't happen without ppv, same for crawford-spence and other fights. we might get less but they will always happen (at least for next 5+ years)

wilder - joshua would have been a massive pay per view if they promoted it properly, wilder beat fury, and joshua beat ruiz. we're talking about 2.5-4 million ppvs in the US, easily. not to mentiona all the UK ppv money for a fight at 5 in the morning on a sunday. that fight was going to be huge.

but in the end i do agree with the TS. want to know why?

streaming. i'm not going to admit to anythning, but let's just say that i could get an HD quality feed with a few clicks of a button and a google search, in seconds, every time if i wanted to.

i have recently cut my cable sub altogether. showtime has an app, dazn is an app, espn has an app, i don't need cable any more, and i fi dn't want to pay for pay per vifew i could still find the fight if i wanted to!

If they do fights that people want to see they will sell. Just because the promoters need to pay so much money to their star doesn't justify the ppv.

Crawford/Khan was a junk fight that flopped.
