Today's version of Thurman gets whupped by Spence. Thurman is outta here.
Thurman-Spence is a true 50-50 fight..

Thurman's weakness to the body has been exposed by Porter, Collazo, and Manny now. Spence knew his style would stop Thurman a long time ago that's why he press Thurman so much.
Thurman is not washed up though idk why people jump to that conclusion. If Crawford was fighting tough fights like Spence and Thurman we'd think they were all fading or overrated.Comment

Spence clearly has a legit chin, and Thurman ain’t no massive puncher either, he’s never knocked out a credible Welterweight. If only it were that simple. Banking on one aspect, have seen this a few times, oh, who and who did this. Not that long ago what was being said about what Ugas was doing to Porter. Hopefully Spence doesn’t get hit with any big shots or has the chin of Garcia and Porter. Get broken down like Collazo, hurt to the body himself like Quintana or take a broken rib like Diaz. Hopefully he doesn’t get beffudled with the footwork neither.

As soon as Thurman stepped up in competition, the stoppages stopped.Comment

IDK why they are saying it is not the same Keith. He was still trying to win against Pac even when he was getting hurt.
I see the same old Keith. His style might be difficult for some but I don't think that he would match well against Spence.
Good fight if it happens.Comment

So true man, he couldn’t even stop guys like Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter and non-shot Robert Guerrero. Despite all the guys that have fought both Spence and Thurman saying Thurman hits much harder, they’re haters, plus Spence proved he has an iron chin vs Porter and defense is too tight, so if he can just land that one bodyshot, easy win. Ko. Spence walks through him. Domination. Thurman is soft.
Lol, jus playin.Comment

Massive puncher? No. But everybody who's been in the ring with him (sans Garcia) has attested to his power. Even if he hasn't knocked them out.
And Spence himself hasn't really been getting knockouts either lately. He didn't stop Porter or Mikey. Kell Brook quit, and Peterson's corner threw in the towel.
Most fighters stop getting KOs when they start facing top tier competition, it's not just ThurmanComment

No shame in not stopping Guerrero, DSG or Porter, I always thought Porter would go 12 with Spence as well.So true man, he couldn’t even stop guys like Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter and non-shot Robert Guerrero. He couldn’t stop a 40 year old Bundu, a Josesito Lopez who’d seen better days and a pretty shot version of Jan Zaveck though...
What credible Welterweight has Thurman KO’d???? You won’t be able to answer that cause he doesn’t have one punch power...
Even the Collazo stoppage was on a cut, he ain’t a puncher.
Good fighter, solid technique, heart, toughness, good footwork etc.
Big puncher? Hell no...
Vulnerable to the body? Hell yes...Comment

FTR, I’m not arguing Spence is a huge puncher either. (He’s definitely a bigger puncher than Thurman though) Peterson and Brook are more legit stoppages at 147 than anything Thurman has on his resume but I get what you’re saying, he beat them into submission as opposed to icing them. Spence doesn’t possess that Tommy Hearns kind of one punch power, he beats you up and breaks you down, more of a Mike McCallum type.Massive puncher? No. But everybody who's been in the ring with him (sans Garcia) has attested to his power. Even if he hasn't knocked them out.

The guy I was discussing with tried to suggest Thurman’s power would trouble Spence, which I just don’t see as Spence has a good chin and Thurman evidently isn’t a big puncher.Comment

Thurman has more 1 punch power than Spence. But he doesn't put his punches together as well as Spence. Which is why he hasn't been able to get KOs when he steps up in competition. But he's hurt damn near everyone he's been in the ring with. So it's not far fetched to think he can't hurt Spence“Although Spence knocked me out and I went twelve rounds with Thurman, I think Thurman is the bigger puncher. Spence is heavy-handed but Thurman has that snap. Clearly Spence can turn your lights out if he lands clean. But I felt shockwaves through my arms whenever I blocked Thurman’s punches. He’s definitely got more snap on his shots," Bundu said.Comment

I dont see any of these guys as being special. That is why I confidently picked a 40 year old Pac to beat Thurman. They are all good fighters. Spence is not great to me. He is very good. Crawford could be great but I dont see the competition there.
I wouldnt even be surprised if Danny beats Spence, and I think I Danny is above average at 147 at best.Comment
