This is no where near the walk in the park he has just described. Although that could be a potential outcome. Porter is a clearly a live dog in this one. Just don’t know if Kenny will let him take Errol’s brutality all fight? The potential for real violence is off the charts. This is must see TV!!!
    Amen brother!

Folk still salty Porter beat Danny Garcia I see. Porter could very well lose tonight but I don't see him being stopped short of eating a hella shot he doesn't see coming.

I’ve watched this fight (3) times. The 1st time, the night of the fight, I thought draw. The 2nd time, when the Porter vs Spence was announced, I had Ugas by split decision. Today, majority decision by Ugas. Porter was aggressive in spots but it wasn’t effective aggression with clean shots landed. Not sure what fight the judges were scoring. And that 12th round, Ugas scored a knock down and the ref ruled it a slip. Spence, a more accurate puncher than Ugas, will pick Porter apart tonight to the head and body.
How are you scoring the fight SD or MD?

          Good post.

I'm wondering if Porter might try to fight in the same way he did against Ugas in spots and see if Spence is able to truly create his own offense. (Not that Porter is that good or effective doing that, but he can move a bit, he just can't really get in clean work offensively).

I'm sure a lot of people picture Porter doing half the work for Spence by jumping in predictably, flailing, and Spence coming underneath with his prolific body punching. If Porter lays off for a while, the crowd get antsy, will Spence feel like he has to do something more and get anxious? That's all I'll be looking for in this one

Spence cant muster a hellashot to take porter out. It will have to be a consistent body attack.

Both for Ugas. For the split decision, the 2nd time I watched it, I believe 2 judges should have scored it for Ugas at least and I could see 1 scoring for Porter. For the majority decision, I believe 2 judges should have scored it for Ugas and 1 score it a draw. I’m observing the fight differently each time I watch it and the way I believe the judges should have saw it. It is just my opinion viewing it.

I kinda agree with you on your points. I know when I watched the Ugas fight again today, it seemed that Shawn doesn’t fight well when he tries to create a distance from his opponent or backing up. Ugas seemed to have his way with him coming forward and backing Porter up. But when Porter got in close, he was more effective.

That is what makes this fight so interesting. We don’t know really how Porter will come out or what his teams strategy is in this one because of the Ugas fight. We don’t know how Spence will react if Porter fights him aggressively like he did against Danny, Thurman, or even Brook, all true welterweights. I would go as far as to say, this is the most compelling fight I’ve seen in awhile with the styles and the unknowns. Spence has never fought anyone like Porter.
