I think Porter edged it also. No hate on with Spence he fought his azz off too. Both did great. Just think Porter had control. The drop in the 11th made me put my head down. Politics would have it that way. 115-111 Porter was good Maybe closer due to the knock down.....end of the night....good azz fight by both!!!

    Manny beats Spence!!!!

The manny that showed up against thurman could beat spence.

We don’t know what condition he’ll be next. He’ll be older and he also received a lot of punishment in the thurman war.

Prime pac it’d be easy for him to rotate around spence.

i dont even think about prime manny. Them days are gone. Last thing that leaves is your power. head to head...manny wins that war. He still faster than anyone Spence has ever seen much less been in the ring with. Still has foot work and can still rotate. Id really fear manny fighting Porter than Spence...real story!

Style wise yup.. porter would bulldogged a 41 year old smaller manny.. pac no longer has the stamina to keep off fighters in that kind of fight..
Prime version of him would enjoy it

while spence style would give him enough space and distance to operate his own shots.
The lead left would go straight down the pipe..

I still hope none of those fights happen next. I want the legend to ride to the sunset with his head high

yeah but that buushlt Floyd fight is in the sights. He had a good win with Thurman. Showed he can still bam. Hopefully he will ride out soon. I sure would like to see him start clearing out a division. He is a cash cow name wise for Al. Id like to see a mega fight but honestly i cant see someone bringing the Manny or Floyd money to the table but Manny. So whats next.....Floyd?

Porter already did. Even if he lost in a close fight. He exposed Spence.

Porter won that fight. Spence was exposed last night. He lost. The Spence hype train is officially over. There is no way he defeats Terence Crawford now after the poor performance he displayed against a limited fighter in Shawn Porter.

This thread screams, "I hope Spence loses so Pac doesn't have to face him."
Thankfully for Pac, Spence is taking that pointless Garcia fight. Hope Pac retires on that solid Thurman win.

Thing is... fans will always want to see manny fight. The nostalgia.. the excitement will always be there and the list of opponents could go on forever.
                    We will never get enough.

But throughout the sport’s history, it’s always “i still feel young” until that brutal KO and reminder that father time cannot be defeated. I don’t want that for Manny. He deserves a good ride into the sunset.

He already exceeded expectations with his longevity in this sport.. noone thought he’d still be there competing at the top level 10 years later.. still carrying that explosive style. Not even his diehard fans.

I do not fancy a floyd rematch.. other than money.. that fight doesn’t hold much weight in history. The first fight was already 6 years too late and pac was out of his prime by then..
Even more so now that they are in their 40s.

A farewell fight... over khan would be easy to bear.. or against a nobody in the Philippines. One last time.

Pac is more than a winner. And the most loved and adored boxer of all time.. his achievements speak for itself

I agree with this notion. The thing is - with the current events happening in welterweights, the position where Pac is now, along with historical achievements that is possibly in the grasp, it’s really tempting to watch him try to take it. But on the other side, enough is enough. I want Pac to retire healthy too.
