The time for talk is over

After all this build up both fighters better bring it this Saturday night because whoever blinks is going to get FRIED for talking all this shit and not backing it up.

I'm getting a vibe that they're going back to Porter's wrestling style...

I wish (well not the headbutt, but the agressive style). Porter seems to have given in to fan complaints lately and stopped being the bull-rusher and just a more orthodox fighter. I liked the old style more.

Porter is custom made for Spence and his style. He thrives on aggressive fighters and has his whole career by counter punching to the body. He is one of the most vicious body punchers in boxing. If his body work doesn’t make him quit it will have tired him so much that by mid to late rounds he’ll be open to hooks and straight lefts for the KO. Porter will make it competitive in the beginning but by mid to late rounds will be thoroughly beaten.

I'm kinda tired of this "Mikey fought to survive" argument that keeps being pushed out there. Mikey was getting hit with everything but the kitchen sink. He stood in front of Spence and and got the dog sh-it beat out of him. Covering up and getting pounded to the body, hooked to the head and the guard split isn't fighting survive.

To me fighting to survive is constantly retreating, holding on, circling the ring, avoiding as many punches as possible without throwing anything back, and completely refusing to engage. Mikey was a fat slug there to be hit and occasionally threw ineffective retaliation punches. Spence just couldn't stop him. Nothing wrong with that, can't stop them all.

Which aggressive fighters has Spence fought? I honestly can't think of any besides maybe Kell Brook. It doesn't matter though honestly Spence is a hard puncher who comes forward with good boxing ability. He's dangerous for any style

I think the secret to beating Spence is to force him to fight on the backfoot. No one has been able to do it and I don't believe Porter will either. But it's interesting because it's something we've never seen him have to do.

If we're being honest Spence has all the goods but hasn't fought anyone. I'm not here to argue who's fault it is or whatever. I'm just stating facts. Kell Brook is the only threat hes faced thus far. Everyone else has been trash. Algeri and Peterson were never elite and posed absolutely no threat to him.

Til he fights bud or moves up, I dont see Spence having to dig deep to pull out a W.

This will be a dirty old dog fight
Imo , that is Porter’s only chance of winning
Making it a brawl , trying to get Spence on his back foot and catch him maybe
Porter would need to ko him as I don’t see him winning on the scorecards
Spence is the much more skilled boxer
