When asked Wednesday whether it’s more important to him to make big money for facing Manny Pacquiao next or to pursue a legacy-defining fight with Crawford, Spence didn’t dance around what’s become a sensitive subject for consumers that fund this often-befuddling sport.

“I think both because, I mean, history can remember you and you’ll be dead broke,” Spence told a small group of reporters. “So, like I said, I wanna leave this game with my brain intact and money in my pocket.”

Arum alleged that Haymon will discourage Spence from a business deal with an outside, white promoter.

I really want to see Spence vs Crawford. But if Spence can fight Manny first, it would crazy for him not to do it. Boxing is a business. As fans, we don't have to cheer for that, but we have to understand it and take it into account.

There's always a reason for spence fans because they know Crawford just too good for spency...he's already planning on fighting 40+ year old pacquiao...weak if you ask me.
