Some boxing newbies here are trying to discredit Manny Pacquiao's achievement.

Fact of the mater is, nobody has even won 8 world championship title in 8 different weight division.

Winning a single world championship belt is hard enough. And winning 3 to 4 world championship belts takes a special talent. What more of winning 8!

A lot of good boxers has never won a single world championship belt. (e.g. Rocky Juarez who was silver medalist in the Olympics) and Mike Alvarado who gave Juan Manuel Marquez and Brandon Rios a run for their money.

Let’s see if that is factually correct:

Manny beat David Diaz to win a fringe title at 135. Is Diaz a HoF boxer? Not even close
Only one fight at that weight.

Manny beat Hatton at 140. Is he a HoF boxer? Debatable

Tim Bradley and Thurman at 147. Are they HoF boxers? I doubt that but we’ll see

The only guys that are legit HoF are the guys that Manny fought at 126 & 130.

But, Manny could literally poop on your plate and you’ll probably tell us it tastes like cheese cake and smells like roses.
