Those comments seemed to personally offend u stephenNot even that! They got out bid by Fox for the Wilder PPV and suddenly they're going to leave boxing? Ridiculous. Boxing is one of the few advantages Showtime has over HBO right now. Boxing is relatively inexpensive, especially since Showtime is being conservative and not trying to out bid the other players. They'll keep having their fights every month or two. They're not going anywhere. Especially when they just signed a three year deal.Comment

Seeing how HBO are out of the boxing business, yes I would say fox/espn are doing a better job, wouldn't you?
PPV on cable is like CD sales, times change and things become obsolete, it happens.
No one wants to pay 45% to a cable operator and only have it available at that exact moment when they can stream it on demand, keep the money and collect all the data, its just the way it is.Comment

They vacated which is substantially different from going out of business. I vehement disagree.Seeing how HBO are out of the boxing business, yes I would say fox/espn are doing a better job, wouldn't you?
