    Showtime is done with boxing

Showtime is getting out of the fight game just like HBO did. This will be their last year broadcasting fights.

If you're only subscribing for boxing, drop them now.

All PBC fight cards will be heading to Fox exclusively.

Been cancelled HBO and Showtime for that reason and subscribed to the yearly package of DAZN.

DAZN like it or not is the only service holding down fight fans.

ESPN + is as terrible as Top Rank matchmaking thus I only subscribe for fights and cancel immediately after.

Got ESPN+ for Kovalev - Yarde and it lasted me through this last fight.

Appears to be last fight for a while
    Until Teofimo Lopez- Commey.

Stephen Espinoza came out and said Showtime won't be leaving the boxing game.

The article was on boxingscene yesterday

        Want to bet?

They're still in the first year of a three year deal with PBC. They're already scheduling fights for 2020. They put in a very aggressive bid for the Wilder/Ortiz II PPV. They just announced a PBC triple header, they've been building Claresa Shields, they've got Tank Davis fighting for a lightweight world title in December. All indications are that this won't be their last year in boxing.

So what happens when you turn out to be dead wrong? Will you apologize?

Not even that! They got out bid by Fox for the Wilder PPV and suddenly they're going to leave boxing? Ridiculous. Boxing is one of the few advantages Showtime has over HBO right now. Boxing is relatively inexpensive, especially since Showtime is being conservative and not trying to out bid the other players. They'll keep having their fights every month or two. They're not going anywhere. Especially when they just signed a three year deal.

I kind of hope they move it to CBS sports nothing against showtime but I agree with Arum about Premium networks limiting the sport

Apologize to you for what? Did his comment personally affect you?

How so? Boxing did just fine and in my opinion better when on premium. Are you about to say fox and espn are doing a better job than hbo and showtime. I surely hope not.

Espn, dazn and fox have been embarrassingly cringeworthy to date.

ESPN sucks now because it's moving everything to +

I think ESPN and fox will do more to grow the sport as long as they don’t put it in an app like ESPN is starting to do
