Would still be shocked if this fight does over 300k PPVs. Expect some misinformation on the PPV numbers on the days following the fight from people wanting to push their agenda. Were there any official numbers released for Pacquiao Vs. Thurman? All I could find was Mike Coppinger's tweet from an anonymous source claiming it sold 500,000.

You do realize that his fight with Ortiz is not PPV and he is doing numbers and you will see that in November and in February against Fury

You do realize if he was doing “numbers” his fight with Ortiz would be on PPV?

Lets all just agree that Wilder does better numbers and
generates more interest than Fury, despite what Arum claims.

Everyone knows white guys are the biggest PPV draws, just look at the smashing success that was GGG-Lemieux.

Negotiations for a fight with Crawford will need to acknowledge that Spence is the A-side when it comes to the money split.

Why can't ESPN do this? They have big platform but they are not using it to promote the fighters

Since you the chief negotiate for Spence make sure he knows that if he prices himself out we'll all know he ducked a better fighter...pure and simple. Crawford unified the JR Welterweight belts, something nobody in history has been able to do. I think Bud will be ok with that.

It's great that he unified at 140. Against who, though? Is that enough of a legacy?

And we are talking about 147 now. What has Bud accomplished at that weight?

Spence isn't pricing himself out. Purse splits have been based on PPV track records forever. Why does that have to change now just to accommodate Bob Arum?
