Great for the sport...for years boxing fans needed HBO and Showtime. Now we have premium content on network television. Gives the sport a chance to bring in more fans and grow the sport. Definitely a good look & I'll be attending the fight as well. I may even order it. I've spent $75 in a lot worse ways in the past.

Couldn't have said it better myself. It's gonna be hard to stop this train with all the steam they've got behind them with Fox.

Because ESPN basically spent $400m locking up the entire UFC (Package for ESPN+, bought the FOX/FS1 package for ESPN, bought the PPV package to flow through ESPN+ and onto PPV, brought along Ariel Helwani to produce a regular MMA show, and utilize the UFC library to fill in content time holes on the ESPN channels).

ESPN tried to get the PBC package for cheap, missed, locked up a 360 deal on Top Rank for cheap, tried to use Top Rank to drive interest in ESPN+, that effort didn't go well, so now boxing takes a backseat to MMA.

Streaming Spence-Porter will be fine, thank you very much.
You wouldn't have bought this event, or any other event for that matter, at any price point, so why try to make noise now, lol?

Nah, I think Canelo-Kovalev and Joshua-Ruiz 2 are worth that price. But that's my point, bigger fights like those are less than Spence vs. Porter, so $74.99 for this Spence vs. Porter fight makes you think, huh? WTF??? Lol

I just found out that they made it a PPV fight cause the article said it was on free TV but they had it wrong

Yep it’s on PPV and the numbers will be terrible. Speak it, believe it, receive it.
