Poor Andrade! He's the Rodney Dangerfield of DAZN! No Saunders, no Canelo, and no GGG, even though all 4 are signed to DAZN, and 3 of them are signed to MatchRoom! He got out of one bad contract @ 154, and things aren't getting any better @ 160! Should've fought Jermall Charlo when he had the chance!

      November 18, 2014:

Something like shades of Rios-Gamboa, minus the press conference with a large captioned photo of the no-show. Yesterday, it was reported that Demetrius Andrade pulled out of his "scheduled" fight with Jermell Charlo. Well ****** is now reporting that the cause of all of this is none other than (dun dun dunnn...) Money. Excluding injuries, money is almost always the reason. Or at least money always serves as a great scapegoat.

Andrade's father, Paul Andrade, says that there was never an official agreement for Demetrius to fight Jermell, and that the promoters put it together without even consulting them. Sound vaguely familiar...

"It's not like we said we're going to fight this guy for this amount of money and then we pulled out of it. We never even saw a contract, and we weren't going to sign a contract for that little bit of money... We're not trying to be a Prima Donna where we're asking for ridiculous money, but I know that we're worth more than $250,000. We just feel that we should be fairly compensated for the fight."

Artie Pellulo, who is one of Andrade's co-promoters, actually disputed parts of this accounts, which clearly indicate a severe misstep in the communication process. Sources close to the purse numbers indicate that Andrade was actually offered $500,000 for the fight.
The offer made to Demetrius Andrade to fight Jermell Charlo was deemed unsatisfactory by Andrade’s team, causing them to walk away from the fight.

      Hindsight is 20/20!

Did I hurt your feelings with all that truth? Man up and face the damn truth you lil bish. Here is some cold, hard evidence for you so that you can stop deluding yourself, Andrade, or Andrade's cousin, or whoever you are.

Below is proof that Andrade pulled out of a fight with Jermell Charlo in 2014. I've copied the paragraph and provided the link.

The 29-year-old was slated to fight Jermell Charlo in December 2014, but withdrew after a dalliance with Roc Nation Sports. Andrade (24-0, 16 KOs) never signed with the company, though, and the legal battle that followed damaged his relationship with Al Haymon, who controls most of the top fighters at 154 pounds.

            https://www.******.com/518589-demetr...ez-fox-oct-21/

Below is a copy of the article where it is clearly explained that Andrade will get a guarenteed shot at Jermell Charlo as his second mandatory. Below the quote is the link if you want to read it yourself. This is the second time Andrade pulled out of a fight with Charlo.

Andrade-Nelson is a 12-round WBC title elimination fight to determine the second mandatory challenger for new WBC Super Welterweight Champion Jermell Charlo, who, as the WBC No. 1 contender was matched last May 21 with No. 2 rated John Jackson. No. 3 Andrade was originally slated to face No. 5 Charles Hatley in a title eliminator to determine the No. 1 mandatory contender. However, negotiations with Hatley’s promoter, Don King, failed to materialize and Andrade moved on to fight WBC No. 10 Nelson. The WBC declared Hatley as Charlo’s mandatory challenger, despite him being ranked lower than Andrade, with the Andrade-Nelson winner now declared the mandatory title challenger for the future Charlo-Hatley victor.

Andrade, though, has no hard feelings with the WBC about its decisions. “I’m just thankful to be fighting in this ‘tournament’,” he commented. “Charlo was the WBC International champion and he should have had the opportunity to fight for the vacant title. I have the WBO International title, Hatley the WBC Silver title, so Hatley should probably have been ranked higher than me by the WBC. I respect the WBC’s decision to make him the first mandatory challenger.”

Below is a link to the article of the interview where Andrade blatantly admits he would only fight Lara, the super champ, as a last resort while declaring his intention to fight Culcay, the regular champ. Remember that fighting for the WBA title disqualifies him as Charlo's mandatory, whereas in the above link it was made clear that Andrade was Charlo's second mandatory. Thus, the second duck of Jermell, whilst simultaneously ducking Lara, for the second time.

Demetrius Andrade wants to have a world title around his waist before he goes on to fight the winner of a bout between World Boxing Council titleholder Jermell Charlo and Charles Hatley.

Below is Demetrius Andrade the duck being exposed by Derevyanchenko after moving up to Middleweight. Provided the link too for you fanboy arse.

"I was very disappointed when the Demetrius Andrade fight fell apart for December 16, because I had the same amount of time to get ready as he did and I accepted all the terms because I am a fighter and I'm willing to fight anybody, anytime, anywhere,” Derevyanchenko told me through an interpreter, for BoxingScene.com.

"We will see in the next month or so if we can remake the fight for sometime in the first few months of the year and we will see if Demetrius will really fight me or if he is scared!”

And if the 25-0 Rhode Islander Andrade wants to opt for another challenge?

“If he does not want to fight me I will depend on my two managers, Keith Connolly and Al Haymon and my promoter Lou DiBella to secure the best opportunity out there for me. I am expecting 2018 to be my big year in boxing," Derevyanchenko said.

Sergey Derevyanchenko is a throwback sort, and that type of fighter can get lost in the shuffle, now and again, because loudness and brashness and noisemaking gets rewarded these days, with social media mud-slinging getting media coverage as much or more than actual in-the-ring action. But the Crimea-born Brooklyn resident is, I think, going to be OK over-all, because his throwback nature means he’s willing and able to lace them up and rumble with no advance notice.

There was almost a second meaningful middleweight fight made for December 16. Keith Connolly, Sergiy Derevyanchenko’s manager, told BoxingScene.com that the unbeaten middleweight agreed to face Demetrius Andrade on the Billy Joe Saunders-David Lemieux undercard December 16 in Laval, Quebec. The deal was almost finalized, but Andrade withdrew from negotiations because the undefeated contender didn’t think he had enough time to prepare for such a difficult fight against Derevyanchenko (11-0, 9 KOs).

Eat some all of this truth and then take some time to reflect and choose a more couragious hero, because Andrade is nothing but a fraud.

Always has an excuse to pull out of fights.

When you think about it, this would be a bad match up for everybody concerned if it was made right now, including the fighters, because it would be high risk, low reward for both, especially for BJS because his 168 title would be on the line.

Yes, Andrade is calling for it, but he's been calling out everybody since he signed with Hearn. And if you gave him a choice of Camelo, GGG, Jacobs, or BJS, I reckon Saunders would be the last one he would pick!

I was listening to an interview with BJS last night. He was asked if he found it a little disrespectful for Hearn to put him the Youtber's undercard for his US debut. BJS said no, not at, it was a great card for him to fight on because it would get him more exposure in the US than if he headlined a show himself, and right now, nobody knows who the fuck he is in America.

Nobody really knows who the fuck Andrade is right now either. Like I said, high risk, low reward for both guys, and it wouldn't even move the dial as far as DAZN subscriptions go.

I had Andrade down as all talk and no action too, because of all those fights he was involved in negotiations for that ended up not happening.

But I've changed my mind about him since he signed with Matchroom. I think he was just badly advised and with the wrong promotional team before. With the right team behind him, and the right money on the table, he will fight anybody.
