Comments Thread For: Boxer 'Impostor' Scandal: Death Was Due To Heart Failure

It appears that the cause of death of Borislav Velichkov, on Saturday evening in the ring in Shkoder, Albania, was heart failure. And apparently this was a pre-existing condition so boxing appears to be on the hook in a big way, as far as the blame to this terrible and tragic accident.

      It’s not uncommon.

Victor Ortiz suffered from chronic heart failure. Not this severe though

Not the heart issue, more the fact that a guy with a severe enough heart issue like this (and he knows about it) would take a boxers identity to have a pro fight?

                  WRONG.

There are all kinds of pre-estisting heart conditions and you would never know about them unless you have a stress test. Those cost like $3000. You will not find them in the typical physical. People have them and never know about it. It would cost over a trillion dollars to stress test everyone in america for example, which is why it is not done.
