I'm confused...why is everyone so black and white?

With my own eyes I see nothing too impressive with Antonio Margarito. He throw wild shots, he has poor defense, etc. and I appreciate technical fighters. That said, from shutting my mouth and using my hears (so to speak) I've understood, partly through this thread why people enjoy him. It's about the excitement. Someone who heralds back to the fighters of old- a tough big guy who goes in swinging and never backs down. Knock him down, knock him out, cut his face to shreds- he fights on. Like a Gatti in a sense. Yet these fans who back Margarito are driving me nuts because it seems impossible to like Antonio and not hate Mayweather.

The Margarito-Mayweather fight is not happening this year. It will happen when it happens. No matter how many fires we light on this thread bitching, moaning, debating and expounding on a possible fight- or the lack there of- it won't happen any quicker. So the constant Mayweather hating needs to stop. The constant Margarito bashing needs to rest.

Mayweather is a skilled, technical genius in the ring.
Margarito is a tough brawler with a never say die attitude.

Good for both of them. Now, let's stop the black and white **** that if you like Margarito you have to hate Floyd and move on with our boxing lives. There's many other things to debate out there.

I like Floyd, am nuetral about Margarito, and hate having to constantly talk about a fight that is never going to happen. That being the one of 2006.
