Fury is the cash cow of boxing. The golden goose. The face of the sport.

He will soon be undisputed, and then there will be nowhere to hide for the inferior contenders in the division. All will be led to the slaughter.

That's somewhat less than the 80,000 he would have drawn to Wembley.

The Wilder vs Fury fight had a lot of comped tickets and the 325k PPV numbers were fake, since Showtime never confirmed it. Jack Dempsey fights were so big that they had to build stadiums to hold all the fans, which were over 100,000 of them watching live. These chumps can't fill up a small college gym. But again, it's because Wilder and Fury both fight bums, gatekeepers and has beens
The underlying thing here is - boxing itself, isn't the draw it used to be.

It is the promoter job to sell tickets not Fury

                      LMAO.

Fury and Wilder just aren't a draw. The rematch would've been a bust as well but they're extremely lucky Fury would be out for a long time and it would save them from an embarrassment.

And the only guy that sells tickets is the one they all stay hating on, rather than stay praying for to continue to be successful, so they can all eat. I'd be surprised if ESPN is paying Fury what they're putting in the media because how are you going to keep paying a guy ridiculous money when his fights aren't making you any money?
