Joshua drew more people sold out a 20k venue in his pro debut then Wilder period. You guys talk utter nonsense , he was a huge success in the U.S period and is even bigger now. If he did PPV with Ruiz it would break records.

It is kinda crayz that we're headed into an era with both HBO and Showtime fazed out of Boxing. It's bitter sweet but needed. People are dumping Cable subscriptions and Firesticks / Streaming Boxes are becoming too much of the norm. The bright side though is Boxing will be in front of a lot more faces. However they start co-promoting (FOX / ESPN) is yet to be seen but Wilder v Fury 2 SEEMS like the 1st step towards that.

It wouldn't break records in the US if you're talking AJ vs Ruiz on PPV. The PPV market in the US is in the *****ter because of firesticks / streaming boxes. Look at DAZN's subscription rate. They're literally praying for new subs hence why they forced the Canelo vs Kovalev on that November date to appease AJ v Ruiz 2 in 2 billing cycles. In the States, Joshua right now is known as the guy who got KO'd by little fat guy (to Casuals).

That doesn't even make sense. Crawford and Joshua aren't with the same promoter.

And that’s why he’s not the brightest tool in the box bro. Showtime literally gave the fight to fox due to it not being realistic this article states as much.

I don’t think Haymon had to even create a bidding war, Wilder’s so ****** (from a business/financial sense) that I’m sure he’s very easy for Al and Finkel to manipulate, it’s hard to defend someone who turns down 100m with a straight face.

DAZN: Deyonce, here's $20m to fight Breazeale, $40m to fight AJ and another $40m to fight AJ.

Haymon: I can do better than that Deyonce, here's $10m to fight Breazeale and now you have to fight Ortiz again for another $10m. We outsmarted those DAZN muhfuckers so much that Showtime dropped us.

I don't see what the big deal is. SHO opted not to air the PPV. Fox will air the PPV. Does it really matter if Fox or SHO handles the PPV?

For a fight that A) Wouldn't happen because AJ lost or B) he would've gotten 40 mil for while making AJ's team 60. I think he prefers not to be a tool

No he didn't. Those ticket were on StubHub and depreciating in value up until the day of the fight. Hearn did like he used to in the UK and scalped them to 3rd parties and it didn't come close to selling out. Wilder vs Brazeale did tho.
