    On Saturday evening there was big - in quantity - show in Shkoder, Albania. In one of the prelims, featherweight Ardit Murja (4-1 going into the fight) took on Bulgarian Isus Velichkov (0-5).

                I just watched the video and it did look like the kid had a stroke or something, nothing to do with the fight.

                  Thanks for the link.

                  The sad reality is, these Eastern Euros are regularly imported to take beatings. Majority of them have similar boxing ability to a Charlie Zelenoff or Andrew Hartley.

                    We need far better regulations!

                    Boxing is the only sport in the world where you sing a piece of paper and that pass a medical to become a “professional”.

                    Experience and ability need to be far more relevant!

                    These Eastern European KID’s are not trained fighters, they are doing this for money and just being exploited.

                    I see this happen in Britain regularly and it seems to happen all over Europe and the world.

                    The sport really needs to clean this up.

                    And most importantly, RIP to the young man who lost his life.
