It's fake news. It started when they didn't show Terence Crawford as a welterweight champion and people ran with it. They've shown a couple WBO sanctioned fights since then.

I guarantee you can't find anything from PBC stating they're no longer recognizing the WBO.

The WBO isn't a world title, it's basically an in-house Top Rank belt. PBC is doing the right thing.

I'll take the WBO over the WBC and WBA at this point because they have started this ****** "super champion" bullspit that the WBA's been on for years, and now the WBC has took on something similar. Plus the diamond belts and emeritus belt, and all that. WBO is okay by comparison.
