So to whomever it may concern, please, by all means, share. Until then I'm not going to operate under the default assumption lack of such a clause is confirmed. It has been established there will be no catchweight, but those are two distinct things. Considering the incompetence of some of this independent grassroots journalism, I wouldn't be surprised if some people have conflated the two.
Well, good for you. Knowing Canelo and seeing the way this Q has been ducked, it's entirely possible there's a rehydration clause, which could significantly favor Canelo.

If you want to cover your ears and close your eyes, then by all means. I'm curious to find out what the rules are for this fight though.

Kovalev is ripe for the plucking. He's weak to the body. He's old. And Ward ruined him.

Canelo is prime. And the judges are his. Kovalev can't knock him out. Game over.

And no, Canelo didn't have a razor close fight with Jacobs. He won rather comfortably. Jacobs was totally unable to get any offense going, because Canelo was too sharp with his counters and defense. Credit for that.

That's a bizarre response to what I wrote, to say the very least. Try actually reading it this time.

Which is crazy considering if any of the other champs at 75 or 68 beat him itd be a pretty big deal, past prime or not.

This is a pretty crazy fight in that we could potentially see Canelo hurt. It really is a significant size diff. Kov might be too good to give that up against. We’ll see.

The first few rounds I expect Canelo to try to feel out Kovalev's power. If GGG's power is as strong as people say, Canelo will quickly realize that Kovalev won't be able to hurt him. Canelo has to stay close to him, slipping his jabs, using his waist to create angles to land some body shots.

I see Kovalev dropping his hands slightly to protect his body sometime around round 6, Canelo will then feint to the body and land a vicious left hook to the chin followed by a right hand. Kovalev will not beat the 10 count and Canelo will be crowned LHW champion.

Great to see Canelo going outside his comfort zone, he's having a go so any critics can piss off and go back to their ducking and running pet boxer.

By not fighting any prime fighters? He’s favored to beat any of the other guys at 160 but Canelo doesn’t want anymore hard fights.

I feel as though since Canelo fought ggg means he’s off the hook by taking anymore chance. This fight with Kovalev is nothing special, he’s fighting a guy on the decline who almost got KO’ed by a body builder who didn’t even spar

Kovalev on pts isn’t out the question though.
Are you sure you have watched Canelo fight before? It's completely out of the question.
