Ward wanted prime Golovkin and prime Kovalev, Canelo not so much, Ward seem less likely to duck
when did that happen? you mean in 2012-13 when turned down ggg and tried to fight pavlik and sartison which led to hbo kicking him off and long legal battles with his promoter over opponents which he lost. or did you mean in 2015 when he made an offer to ggg for a fight in 2016 knowing that ggg was supposed to fight the cotto-canelo winner next. surely you have something else besides those 2 times because what you are saying doesnt match up with what happened.
if ward wanted prime ggg as you say why didnt he figth him in 2012-13? why did he try to fight a guy like dmitri sartison instead? why did hbo kick him off? why did he lose the legal battles with his promoter? why did he try to fight ggg in 2016 when he was available in 2015 and wouldnt be in 2016? why didnt he know that the cotto-canelo winner vs ggg was the biggest fight in boxing and why did he try to schedule a fight with ggg at the same time that fight woudl happen? why did he have to have a multi fight deal with ggg and not a single fight with ggg? why did he need more tune ups when he had just fought paul smith?
kindly answer all those questions in detail with supporting evidence so your answers make sense
If Ward comes back he’ll need to take a tune up fight or two due to being inactive for over 2 years now. I just don’t see him wanting to do that at this point. I’d selfishly love to see that fight though. I think it would be a great fight. I think Ward at his best beats Canelo by a decision victory.
I don't even like Ward as a fighter but how the heck could he DUCK an active fighter when he is retired and appearing to enjoy his career as an analyst. This lunacy is getting out of hand.
Canelo is Ward's kryptonite for the simple fact that Canelo would be the A-side and so the ref wouldn't let Ward get away with his shenanigans and the judges would lean towards Canelo in a decision if history has taught us anything.
Take away the A-side smoke and a lot of fighters ain't all that. Tyson Fury would have lost at least 3 fights (McDermott 1, DQ against Cunningham, TKO stoppage vs Wallin....and that's not including all the other blatant cheating/bending of the rules without so much as a warning)
