Golovkin has already beaten Canelo twice in the eyes of the public. Canelo won't fight him again. He got the gift from the judges he wanted. Instead he wants to jump weight classes cherry picking faded champions.

Fair enough! I can’t argue at all and GGG did waste a lot of time and $$$$.

Canelo really did need that rematch 10x more then ggg.

I’m a huge Canelo fan but when ppl come correct and think about their responses logically I’m all for admitting I’m wrong or what not. They also say I hate ggg? When in fact he’s still in my top 5 p4p list. And no canelo is not #1

I"m the same way. That refreshing. I like the way Canelo fights, he is great. I give credit where it's due. He was amazing defensively in the first fight and moved forward against a killer in the rematch. Gotta give him his due. But I don't think it was enough to take the belts. So when I say that i'm not hating either. I wished he fought a the best light heavy then i'm a fan rather than a spectator.

Most fans want the fight, Golovkin wants the fight, DAZN wants the the fight, even Oscar wants the fight.

Well said, GGG is the victim here, being lowballed & disrespected from the get go. GB & Nelo want to convince all that he won both fights therefore a 3rd fight is meaningless. Both fights were competitive, but the only fighter that IMO won at least 7 rds in both fights was G. If Alvarez wants to be considered an ATG then he should be able to beat a diminished 175 lbs fighter that can’t take body shots & a 38yr old (by fight time) middleweight CONVINCINGLY.

Exactly! great fighter but he should have beaten the old guy convincingly and he should fight the best light heavy. That's not hating that's what happened and is what's happening. In due time I will be a fan because he will get better and some fights are unavoidable. Right now I'm not there. I find him dull.

Already easily beat him up mexican style in the rematch to avenge the draw. Grovelkin had 2 shots at Canelo, more than any other fighter has ever gotten. Yet, he has acted like a coward and refused to challenge himself the way Canelo does after the fight. He needs to learn to have his own legacy, instead of trying to live off Canelo fight handouts. Make a Charlo or Andrade fight or else just sit on the bench and watch when Canelo takes those guys on first! Thats the Golovkin way.

I think the logic is that a 3rd fight will again be very tough and eventually at some point one guy will hurt the other...at this point Canelo has his 'win' over GGG so taking him on another time is dangerous from a legacy standpoint...many feel he lost twice, so if they fight a similar fight a 3rd time and the result goes against him, he is probably 'scared' in a way of what it will do to his 'legacy'

That seems like a stretch. Canelo's legacy did not hinge on defeating the GGG.

I don’t care either way if the score cards aren’t to whacked like I saw some only give Canelo 4 rounds in both fights?

First on I scored 7-5 GGG but won round was a tossup I gave to ggg for no really good reason so fine with a draw or GGG won 7-5. I can’t give Canelo 7 rounds though.

2nd fight 7-5 Canelo. Man He was SMOKING GGG in the 1st half of the fight but GGG stood his ground and finished strong. I can see a draw again but cannot give ggg 7 rounds because he came on to late...

Plus I was pissed how he ran out the ring crying like a poor sport. That sht is not called for in any sport.

Lets not forget canelo was durty and failed test twice and ggg still fought him and put his belts on the line. Ive lost all respect for nelo, eaked out a decision and absconded with those belts and his promoters want to make a trilogy as they should for the fans and the sport.... but this brat still butt hurt he got busted on clenbutol and how ggg/abel called him out and took it personal. Would rather run two weight classes up than do what pacquiao a true champ did, not run from trilogy thats competitive that fans want, all we are left with his canelo protectionist fan club boring us with their sycophant logic.

Nelo went 24 rounds with that dude...there’s no reason to believe he is afraid of the challenge!! I like the fact that he’s going up in weight to fight Krusher...Nelo got game and balls...if only GGG would’ve went up to fight Ward...he’d probably get the same respect that Nelo gets from those of us who only respect a selective few!!...Nelo is a certified ATG in the making IMO
