oh yea like people were real about the kovalev ward robbery? although you could tell they were grasping for straws when the normal "he schooled him" talk was reduced to "it could have went either way" when it coudn't but a small capitulation
Don't forget the, "It was borderline low, not low!" because there is a difference between being punched partly to the groin and fully to the groin lol.
There is more money in canelo ggg than this fight. Kovo biggest weakness is
Body shots and canelo is probably the best body puncher. Kovo is folding early mark my words.
I get that Kov is past his best but he's still a true top 175 pounder. A drained Chavez Jr didn't even wince at Canelos power shots in their super middleweight fight. 175 is way too big of a leap.
Canelo taking so many risks in this historic bout, he is looking to surpass SRR as a middleweight lineal champion defeating the light heavyweight lineal champion.
Haters are already coming up with their arguments to steal credit away from Canelo should he win. Lets list the hater make believe arguments and discredit them.
1. Canelo isnt jumping 2 weight classes since he fought at 168 a year ago - Fake News - Canelo fought at 160 his last fight and is the reigning middleweight lineal champion.
2. Canelo has a mystery rehydration NDA clause in the contract - Fake News - list your sources and prove it
I'm talking about recently. We can go back further than Ward Kov 2 if you want.
But how many of them involved a guy leap frog 2 divisions after moving up from 154 to fight a legit champion and puncher like Kovalev?
I'm just basing it off what I've seen from recent MWs & SMWs that moved up & their struggles and Canelo is initially a 154lber. What he's doing is almost unprecedented.
Only Roy Jones Jr. Has done such a thing & he didn't attempt to fight a top 2 guy in the division.
He's got 2 really good wins over Alvarez & Yarde, big, hard hitting, durable high pressure guys.
I could see some weakness because he fought Yarde so recently as someone else said but he's still major major threat.
I get what your saying but alvarez was a no name before his first fight koing kov, and yarde was a relative up n comer had never fought at an elite level yet nearly had kovs head off in the 7th. Canelo is a seasoned elite level fighter in his prime a whole different beast to alvarez and yarde. It's a calculated and well timed challenge to kov imo.
