A lot of Yarde being exhausted was Kovalev putting a beating on him, he breaks guys wills. Kov is a special boxer-puncher, his power is tried & tested against some great fighters. As soon as he hits someone their entire style changes in an instant.

Canelo would have to make himself such a small target & be able to counter Kovalev's jab but I'm not so sure he has the reach to do that. I'll be surprised if the 1st clean jab Kov hits Canelo with doesn't have him reeling back.

Sergey has the power to end it at any time, even with his jab, Canelo will have to be ultra aggressive getting on the inside & avoiding big shots.

This will be a classic bout, book it. Canelo wins and he's on his way to Mayweather status.
King Kov is going to have his way with Canelo. Abuse him. He might stop him by jab, thinking about it. Kov is a mean fighter too, he won't be forgiving like Spence was with Mikey. He's going to ruin Canelo.

Ward vs Kovalev ended in a stoppage.

But the reason for that is most champions aren't KO artists.

I'm talking about recently. We can go back further than Ward Kov 2 if you want.

            Yes sir
            Totally agree
My feeling is it won’t go further than 6
I really believe Canelo will bully his way in and catch Kovi
Not sure how people can compare this fight , Canelo to fughin Yarde
Exactly who did Yarde beat and where exactly does he come from
He starts ripping him in the 4th and it’s over by the 5th or 6th

It ended in a stoppage because Ward was going for the balls the entire time.

Canelo is an actual top guy who fights clean.

To all of the low blow bros....check out every highlight clip. Point out the times Ward went south. And when he did, the shots were either on the belt or Kov bent his body to such a degree, any body shot would have been low either by accident or deflection.

People make too much out of the insignificant.

''Kov lost because Ward ko'd his nutsack ...............''

                  Goddam fools

Kovalev is also a far superior boxer off the back foot & has fought some big durable guys with power. Yarde hits harder than Canelo by a mile and he could just barely hurt Kovalev.

Jean Pascal didn't even have the power to get Kovalev off him, I'd say he hits just as hard as Canelo if not harder.
A prime kovalev yeah but that was years ago he's not the same animal now.

... "Kovalev-Canelo is ending in knockout" only in case Kovalev would seek to stop Canelo -- which I don't believe...

... normally, this will be a "clean boxing exhibition fight", with Canelo winning a ("hard fought") decision...
