never heard anything like this in boxing.

Closest I've seen to that is the infamous yet tragic Eubank/Watson fight.

Watson just battered Eubank like a ****ing man possessed for like 10 rounds, two minutes and 50+ seconds before Eubank got off the canvas following the first clean knockdown of his career to land that fateful, spectacular uppercut (paralysing Watson in the process)..

You can buy the download from Eubank's website www.chriseubank.com (half the money goes to Michael Watson - Michael is 100% behind this).

i think benn vs jones would of been so one sided if it was a prime vs prime
fight. jones wouldnt of got hit even close to enough to get knocked out
and would of landed hundreds of shots on benn if benn stayed on his feet long
enough. benn was exciting but he wasnt a very good boxer and his defense was
pretty poor. 8rd ko for jones would be my pick.

too fast, too powerful, too smart

Benn was a very good boxer when he settled down and boxed, his lateral movement would of caused anybody problems. His defense was pretty poor? Yeah, the wilder 87-90 Benn. Not the mature Benn. If against Jones though he said he'd just throw everything at him non-stop, and he'd land something.

                Benn KO Jones, no question.

Yes, great punch. Although they say it was the way Watson's head bounced off the rope and onto the canvas that did the damage. Either way, cracking punch.
