Oh, I don't the fight will get promotion on commercials and spots on other networks, because it will. I'm just specifically talking about ESPN. Damn near everyone tunes into ESPN everyday at some point, especially during the lead up of the big fights. They give a solid push to certain events/fights. Will they even cover the weigh in of Alvarez/Kovalev?

Have to wait and see. We're only entering the 3rd round of the war, only had a feeling out and a couple of minor skirmishes so far.

Why should I pay attention to it? I get DAZN and I will enjoy the fight live. ESPN probably won't promote it much but what difference would that make to me? ESPN will do whatever they will do and I have no control or influence over that and can't change it so why should I worry about it?

They promote every Canelo fight because Canelo is currently the biggest star on the sport.

And even if they didn't promote it, everyone who was going to watch it while ESPN promoted it, will still watch because it is Canelo.

Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz will get most of their Promotion which is on the same night and that only make sense being that the UFC is with ESPN

Sorry but that UFC matchup will completely overshadow Canelo fight on that same night and more people will be watching and talking about Masvidal vs Diaz on social media

Top Rank has points on a co-promotion deal they made with Duva last year. It’ll end up being a nice chunk of change for doing absolutely nothing.
